Why I built TEKMESIS

TEKMESIS helps you quickly put everyday claims and questions to a scientific test — turning conflicting information into clear, evidence-based orientation.

TEKMESIS grew out of a simple observation: for many of life's important questions, scientific studies already exist — but for most people, they're hard to find, densely written, or seemingly contradictory.

At the same time, we increasingly run into fake news, misleading numbers, oversimplified claims, and statements that sound scientific but aren't. For non-experts, it's often nearly impossible to quickly tell what's actually backed by evidence, only partially plausible, or simply misrepresented.

That's exactly where TEKMESIS comes in. The platform helps you quickly and easily put personal questions, claims, and information to a scientific plausibility check. It finds relevant sources, compares studies, and transparently shows what's well supported, where results conflict, and what uncertainties remain.

I wanted to build something that helps people weigh information more soundly and make better decisions — whether the topic is learning, health, work, nutrition, technology, consumption, or anything else in everyday life.

TEKMESIS isn't meant to hand you neat, oversimplified truths. The goal is to make science understandable, and to draw a clear line between evidence, interpretation, and unsupported claims.

The name TEKMESIS

The name TEKMESIS originates from Ancient Greek and means proof, evidence, and reasoned conclusion. That's exactly what our platform stands for: we search, compare, and structure scientific findings so that complex studies become clear, traceable orientation.
